Administration Assistant [New Zealand]

  • Maternity cover 6 months (up to 12 months tbc)

Our client is a major local player in their field, with a strong history and positive reputation in the market. This is your opportunity to join an experienced team and build on your existing office skills.

Our ideal candidate has 1-2 years’ experience in an office environment and is familiar with office systems and processes. You will be comfortable in the trades sector and are happy dealing with a range of people from all walks of life.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Front of house reception and phones
  • Data entry into a range of systems
  • Processing new jobs and job cards
  • Invoicing, reconciliations
  • Supporting other office staff as needed

We are seeking people who are:

  • Enthusiastic team players
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Experienced with MS Office, database, and invoicing systems
  • Able to communicate well both verbally and in writing
  • Willing to learn and take instruction
