We're seeking a talented Sr. UI Designer for Marketing / Marketing Visual Designer (Remote) to spearhead our marketing team's design projects. We require a seasoned professional with a proven track record in designing for various mediums, who can effectively promote our new brand through design for multiple marketing channels. The ideal candidate possesses strong self-management skills and is adept at supporting the team with planning, communicating status, and delivering multiple concurrent projects. Our team is composed of 80 people with a variety of talents and personalities. At the heart of our values lie caring and mutual aid so everyone can flourish in their daily activities.
Ideal candidates for this position will be based in EST timezones to allow for overlap with CET and PST hours.
Responsibilities include
- Leading the visual design for Growth Marketing. Develop concept and creative design for all our marketing channels including the marketing websites, social ad campaigns, videos, landing pages, direct mail, and more
- Supporting our content team by designing new landing pages and ebooks and creating and maintaining the product documentation site
- Close collaboration with the marketing team members to drive estimation, planning, and delivery of multiple concurrent projects
- Owning the creative meetings to kick off new projects and provide updates to the marketing team
- Creating illustrations, infographics, icons, and other visual assets for our websites, ads and explainer videos, and other marketing materials that communicate our product concepts
- Maintaining brand and design systems and libraries
- Supporting web development teams throughout the implementation cycle
Preferred Experience
- A senior-level designer with minimum 4 years of experience supporting marketing teams
- Formal design education in graphic design/visual communication, education in UI/Interaction design a plus but not required
- Deep understanding of the UI design fundamentals (page layout, typography, iconography, infographics)
- Expert-level experience with Figma and Adobe creative suite
- Portfolio/previous work samples demonstrating an eye for design and a great sense of aesthetics
- Good understanding of how to optimize the design for different mediums
- Ability to design for aesthetics and user experience while also prioritizing conversion optimization
- Up-to-date knowledge of design trends and standards
- Ability to use, adapt and evolve design systems as needed, in response to changes in brand identity or design trends
- Basic understanding of web development technologies
- Curiosity and thoughtfulness - ask insightful questions to understand the "why" behind the projects to ensure your work effectively addresses the project's goals
- Excellent communication skills, ability to effectively engage with the team to come up with solutions, explain the rationale and thinking process behind your designs and drive conversations to move projects forward
- Ability to receive constructive feedback from multiple stakeholders to iterate and improve designs
- Ability to assess projects, set timelines and milestones, communicate progress, and manage expectations
- Excellent time management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and push multiple concurrent projects forward
