Area Carpet and Floor are currently recruiting for the position of General Operative on a temporary basis ( may lead to permeant) in Cork to assist with our busy summer period . Area Carpet and Floor supply and install a wide range of floorcoverings to residential and commercial clients.

Duties include:
- Working on site with installers
- Preparing areas for installations
- Fitting underlay and gripper
- Subfloor preparation
- Delivering/Collecting materials to/from site
- preparing materials in warehouse
- Full training provided on all above
The suitable candidate should:
- Be motivated
- Be enthusiastic
- Be dedicated and flexible
- Have a full clean driving licence with at least 5 years driving experience
- Have the ability to work well in a team environment
- Have the ability to work on their own initiative
Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 8 weeks
Salary: €11.50-€13.50 per hour
