Modernize in modern surroundings

You will join the InnoVision Hub, located in the open-floor offices within the gorgeous, hypermodern architectural gem Mikado House, right between DR Byen and Islands Brygge. Our team is based in Copenhagen and drive projects across the region, where we aim to make digital innovation one of the cornerstones in our innovation efforts throughout Northern Europe:

Facility services has thus far been a very routine-based industry with little change in the way in which things are done. We aim to challenge that. Especially in these years of COVID, inflation and so on, we are forced to rethink a lot of what our business is – and digital services is a vital part of that effort.” Says Jonathan Hentze, Director for InnoVision Hub, Northern Europe.

Your colleagues include some of the brightest data minds in the industry, working with everything from data engineering and insights to conceptual design and user experience. You will work closely with the UX and UI Designer and the Digital Innovation Manager in the team, whose wealth of experience you will benefit greatly from, especially early on.

Data as the beating heart of innovation

Your task, very simply put, is to meet the business opportunities across our organisation through develop new processes and functionality within, but not limited to, our Django based software platform and introduce innovative digital applications to change the way we work. You will interact with key people working in Growth, Operations, Retail, IT and more, understand their business areas and push the limits of what they can achieve to further their potential.

In your day-to-day, you can expect to be:

  • Assisting development of our front & backend services
  • Help design and create data structures using our Azure Platform
  • Shaping data flows with Logic apps and Databricks

We don’t expect you to know everything from day 1. Thankfully, you have experienced colleagues, who will guide you every step of the way, and you will have time and resources to help you get settled. There is a pervasive culture of assisting and coaching each other in the team, so you will never feel helpless.

Depending on your level of experience and proficiency, you may begin your journey in developing simple flows and improving existing functionalities or jump straight into more complex process development. Either way you will be guided towards making a strong impact early on and face increasingly challenging for tasks and projects as you continue to develop your skills and understanding of the business. There is little repetitive work, as you are always at the forefront of innovation, so you will have amazing opportunities to test and adapt your skillset in different developer areas with new projects in various business areas.

Cooperative and communicative

Finding yourself on unknown ground is where you like to be – in fact, you see the challenge of creating something no one else has done before as intriguing and something that motivates you. You love collaborating and being part of a team, but are also comfortable challenging the status quo, regardless of who, you’re talking to.

You thrive in both groupwork and solo projects, and are not afraid to take responsibility, even when working within critical business areas. It prides you to deliver top-quality, thoroughly assessed work.
