Responsibilities:
Coordinate with Finance Department and IT Department on IFRS17 System launch and end-to-end reporting process.
Assist IFRS17-related modelling task, include but not limit to Prophet Model enhancement and impact analysis.
Review actuarial methodology and technical process, and provide insight for further enhancement.
Assist IFRS17 system automation, including UAT to ensure its functionality before launch.
Assist the IFRS 17 financial impact assessment/ transition arrangement and understand the impact on product profitability
Involve and maintain control framework.
Support IFRS17 implementation approach.
Requirements:
University graduate with major in Actuarial with good progress on actuarial examinations.
2+ years of relevant working experience in insurance industry.
Strong technical skills, including MS VBA, SQL, Python and Prophet Modelling.
Knowledge and experience in IFRS 17 is an advantage.
Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
